2 teens shot in Humboldt Park alley

Summary

<p>Someone opened fire, hitting two boys early Thursday in a Humboldt Park alley. </p><p>The two, 15 and 17, were standing in an alley around 3 a.m. in the 1400 block of North Fairfield Avenue when they were shot, Chicago police said. </p><p>The younger boy was shot in the abdomen and taken to Stroger Hospital where he was in serious condition, police said. </p><p>The older teen was shot in the left hand and was taken to the same hospital in fair condition, officials said. </p><p>Area 5 detectives were investigating. </p>
