Summary

The last time Reverend Rob Schenck was in Kansas, he was trying to shut down every abortion clinic in the city of Wichita. For the last decade, he’s been working to untangle himself from the religious right, which he helped build. This fall, he returned to the Sunflower State to see whether Kansas is changing, too. Democratic candidate and fellow minister Adam Hamilton is running against incumbent Roger Marshall. Polls are showing a nearly tied race, and if Hamilton wins, it would be the first time Kansas has elected a Democrat to the Senate in nearly 100 years.
